Skip to main contentInformation on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Last updated: 15 August 2026
This site collects personal data mainly when you provide it yourself, by filling in one of the contact forms. It also uses traffic measurement tools: an internal one, which works without cookies and without storing IP addresses, and Google Analytics, which is only activated if you choose to consent. I carry out no advertising tracking and I do not pass data to third parties for marketing purposes.
The data controller is Paolo Mirabella, based in Florence (Italy).
For any matter concerning your personal data you can write to [email protected] or call +39 347 245 4542.
No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the legal conditions requiring one do not apply.
By filling in the form on the Contact page you may provide: first name, last name, company or organisation, city, email address, telephone number, reason for getting in touch and the content of your message. Only the first name, email, message and consent tick box are required; the other fields are optional.
The quick form that may appear in a window while you browse collects only your name, email address and the text of your enquiry.
If you contact me directly by email, telephone or WhatsApp, I process the data you choose to send me in that message.
Like any website, the server records certain technical information in its log files, transmitted automatically by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system. This is used solely to ensure the site works and is secure, and is not used to identify you.
To understand how the site is used I employ an internal measurement tool that installs no cookies and does not store your IP address: the address is turned into an irreversible code together with a secret value that changes every day, so that after twenty-four hours no data can be traced back to a person. What is recorded is the page visited, where you came from, and the device and browser type.
If you consent to the statistics category, Google Analytics 4 is also activated; it installs its own cookies and sends Google information about your browsing. The individual cookies are listed in detail in the Cookie Policy.
To reply to your request for information, prepare a quote and, where appropriate, begin a professional relationship
Pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and consent given by ticking the box in the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR)
24 months from the last contact, unless a contractual relationship begins
To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations where a professional engagement is entered into
Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR)
10 years, as required by law
To ensure the security and correct operation of the site
Legitimate interest in protecting the systems (Art. 6.1.f GDPR)
Technical logs, for as long as strictly necessary
To measure use of the site in order to improve its content and structure
Consent, for the Google Analytics statistics cookies (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). The internal measurement is anonymous and does not process personal data
Internal measurement: 24 months. Google Analytics: according to the retention set on the property, at most 14 months
To keep a record of the choice you made about cookies
Accountability obligation under Articles 5.2 and 7.1 GDPR (Art. 6.1.c)
24 months from when consent was collected
Providing the data marked as required is necessary in order to reply to you: without it the enquiry cannot be followed up. Providing the other data is optional and only serves to make the reply more precise.
Data sent through the forms is saved in the site database and at the same time forwarded by email to the controller. It is not disclosed publicly, nor transferred or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
It may be accessed, as processors or as independent controllers, by the technical providers that make the service possible:
Website hosting provider
Storage of the database and files, sending of emails
European Union
Cloudflare, Inc.
Content delivery network and protection against cyber attacks
United States
Google Ireland Limited e Google LLC
The mailbox on which the controller receives form notifications; site usage statistics via Google Analytics 4, activated only with your prior consent
Ireland and United States
Transfers to the United States involve parties that adhere to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or take place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which provide adequate safeguards under Articles 45 and 46 GDPR.
At any time you may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR:
To exercise them, simply write to [email protected]: you will receive a reply within one month of your request.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
The site uses an encrypted connection via an SSL certificate. I adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, loss or destruction, including regular encrypted backups.
No automated decision-making takes place within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR: no decision concerning you is taken automatically. If you consent to the statistics cookies, Google Analytics processes data about your browsing for aggregate measurement purposes; you can withdraw your consent at any time.
The site uses technical cookies, necessary for it to work, and statistics cookies, which are installed only after you consent. Until you make a choice, third-party scripts remain blocked and no data reaches their servers.
You can accept, refuse or change your preferences at any time from the dedicated panel, which opens from the icon at the bottom left of every page. The full list of cookies, with purposes and durations, is in the Cookie Policy.
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the services offered by the site. The date at the top of the page always indicates the most recent update.
Leave me a couple of lines about your goal: I reply personally, within one working day.
